To quote the immortal American Philosopher, B. Spears, “Oops!…I Did It Again.” Once again I’ve hurt myself with my not-so-youthful exuberance. There I was in the shower while listening to the radio broadcast of the Washington Nationals final game of the regular season. Jordan Zimmerman was an out away from getting a no-hitter (SPOILER ALERT: He did it) and the broadcaster called the final out. Since it was the first ever no hitter in Nationals History, I was very happy and I jumped up and down…once.
Did you know that the average shower head is capable of stopping an M1 Abrams dead in its tracks? Well, okay, that’s probably not true, but it is capable of stopping a stupid, nearing forty, somewhat empty skull approaching it at an excited rate of speed.
So, kiddos, the moral of the story is to only take baths when there is a chance of an exciting sports play occurring on the radio.
